The GE Vscan Extend R2 Dual Probe Ultrasound Scanner provides accurate, high-precision patient ultrasound imaging data. The Vscan Extend R2 is a palm-sized ultrasound system, with control and display modules, designed to enable rapid patient assessment. The system’s robust design makes it suitable for patient monitoring in most environments including hospitals and home .
Adaptable and Easy to use
This primary care ultrasound system offers exceptional convenience for healthcare providers with its utilitarian design and configuration. Dual probe technology allows for easy scanning without switching probes between or during examinations. This is designed to help you see more detail without compromising image quality – whether on the inside or just under the skin. The Vscan Extend R2 dual probe uses SignalMax technology, which means each side of the probe is made specifically for the task for which it was designed.
Flexible Data Flow
Proprietary algorithms unify patient data and enable rapid assessment and confident decision making. Data transfer from the scanner to the display module was smooth. Vscan Extend R2 is able to provide assistance with a number of medical procedures and conditions. All data can be stored and tracked easily to help medical personnel monitor the patient’s response to therapy.
Precision Assessment Applications
The two transducers, located at each end of the scanner enable a wide range of scanning applications. Both transducers provide sharp, clear images of the target area, facilitating important procedures such as cardiac assessment, perioperative care, tendon, muscle and joint assessment, pediatric assessment, and neonatal care. The optional LVivo EF application also allows automatic ejection fraction measurement.
